I'm learning how to cultivate
collateral advantages:
I sleep on the diagonal.
I hog the pillows and the sheets.
I even entertain the thoughts

The freedom's in the curling of
my toes beneath the comforter,
the tired turning in the night,
these Saturdays spent sleeping in.
